Our Board of Directors

Sandra Agu
Assistant Secretary - OCMMI

Sandra Agu is a computer scientist with expertise in data management and threat intelligence. She currently serves as Assistant Secretary of the OCMM International Board of Directors. Prior to this, she served as Secretary at OCMMI’s Nigerian head office. Sandra holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Agriculture, Makurdi, Nigeria.

She is passionate about using her ICT skills to support positive community impact.

Mathew Ocholi
Member, Board of Directors – OCMMI

Dr. Mathew Ocholi is a seasoned development practitioner and social scientist with over 20 years of experience in environmental, water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) programs across Africa and Canada. He has led large-scale projects with organizations such as WaterAid, UNICEF, and the EU, supporting policy design, institutional strengthening, and stakeholder engagement in Nigeria and West Africa.

Dr. Ocholi holds an MSc in Water and Waste Engineering from Loughborough University (UK) and a Doctorate in Social Science from Royal Roads University (Canada). He currently serves as a project manager with the Government of British Columbia, Canada, and is a valued member of the OCMMI Board of Directors.

Martha Odumu
Vice President - OCMMI

Martha Odumu currently serves as the Vice President of OCMMI, where she assists in leading strategic initiatives that deliver holistic healthcare to underserved communities. A licensed nurse and midwife with a BSc in Human Resource and Organization Management, she brings over 20 years of experience in clinical care, public health, and rural medical missions.

She has worked with organizations like AIDS Prevention Initiative In Nigeria (APIN), and holds multiple certifications in HIV management, counseling, and nursing specialties. Martha is also the founder of Pain 2 Gain, a blog offering comfort and hope to those facing health challenges. She is passionate about holistic healing,  research, Sickle Cell advocacy and  complementary medicine.

Married with two children; she enjoys writing, reading, and quality time with her family.

George Odumu
Project Officer

George Odumu is a dedicated board member of OCMM International, serving in multiple leadership roles including Project Officer, Southwest Zonal Leader, Chaplaincy Head, and Youth Coordinator. A trained accountant and experienced manager, he brings a wealth of professional and ministry experience to the team. George is also a missionary and evangelist with Dunamis International Gospel Centre, deeply passionate about spreading the Gospel.

JD Pomeroy
President - OCMMI

JD has had the pleasure of serving as the President of OCMM International since October of 2024. With degrees from West Point and Washington University in St. Louis, he has developed a strong background in strategy and operational level execution. His diverse background spans the manufacturing, consulting, healthcare, and security industries. Over time JD has developed an incredible passion for helping others and more specifically driving the best patient outcomes. His belief is that society’s true potential cannot be unlocked until it achieves good health.

Paul Odumu
Founder / CEO

Dr. Paul Odumu is the Founder, Chairman, and CEO of the Organization for Community Medical Mission International (OCMMI). A Family Physician with over 30 years of experience, he leads OCMMI’s strategic direction and oversees the professionalism and safety of its medical missions.

He holds a medical degree from the University of Jos and is a Fellow of the West African College of Physicians and the UK Institute of Management Specialists. Dr. Odumu currently heads the Family Medicine Residency Program at the Nigerian Army Reference Hospital, Kaduna, and serves as a Director with the Nigerian Ministry of Defense.
